During the year there are many events in the surrounding area. Lifeboat week in West Bay is in July. Lifeboat week in Lyme Regis is also in July. In August Bridport has its Carnival and Torchlight Parade and the local Agricultural show is at the end of August. Buckham Fair started & run by Martin Clunes & Committee in aid of local charities is popular with everyone, including dogs.
